Tutor Services

I offer in-person and online tutoring in Writing, Creative Writing, English, and high school filmmaking. I am based in West Vancouver, Canada.  See below for more details...

Creative Writing

Learn to write creatively as well as functionally. Understand story, plotting, descriptive language (when to use it and when to stay away) and more.

Each student is treated uniquely dependent on his/her goals. Projects may vary from writing short stories, to writing a book.

ESL

On the one hand this is a basic ESL course, and yet it's not. Designed for kids, this course teaches English while stressing reading comprehension, conversation, and proper English including spelling and grammar.

We have students from Vancouver to Beijing, in person and online.

English

This course is designed for school-aged kids (elementary and high) to help them through all their English classes and prepare them for a world where we now communicate with the written word more than ever before.

Essay Writing

With essays being such a big component of school life, understanding the subject matter is often not enough; being able to articulate it in an essay is just as important - if not more so.

Filmmaking

Film making has gone from something magical that happened in Hollywood to so accessible that it is now a standard high school course.

This class aims to enhance your high school learning in such a way that you can shoot more accomplished films, and learn what your possibilities are should you pursue filmmaking as a career.
